Bouquet role: Greenery, airy
Grow one of the loveliest foliages for hand-tied bouquets! Willow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus nicholii, also called Nichol’s Willow) has slender blue-green, willow-like leaves arranged on graceful reddish stems. Its airy, fragrant foliage adds movement, texture, and beautiful contrast to fresh or dried arrangements.
PRESALE · Local pickup May 24–30, 2027 (week 21) · No shipping.
Choose 10 young starter plugs for $18 or 20 plugs for $32. There are 80 total plugs available in one shared inventory pool across both pack sizes. We’ll contact you ahead of the pickup week with arrangements for local pickup. These are young starter plants, not mature eucalyptus branches or cut stems.
Growing tips: Grow in full sun in well-draining soil, with consistent moisture while plants establish. Space approximately 18–24 inches apart if growing for cut foliage. Harden off before planting, and protect from frost; eucalyptus is frost-tender in Massachusetts and is usually grown as an annual outdoors here. It may not reach maximum florist-stem length in its first growing season. Harvest mature foliage as stems develop. The mature species can become a tree in frost-free climates; it will not reliably overwinter outdoors in New England.
