Grow a joyful mix of compact, fully double pompon-style China asters with Bonita Mix (Callistephus chinensis). These florist-quality annual cut flowers have petite, rounded, densely petaled blooms in an assortment of pink, rose, blue-purple, scarlet and white tones. Their tidy buttonlike flower heads are wonderful supporting blooms and provide playful texture alongside larger focal flowers.

Growing tips: China asters are annuals best grown in full sun and rich, well-drained soil. Harden off promptly and transplant without letting plugs become root-bound; Bonita benefits from steady growth and good airflow. Allow about 6–9 inches between plants in a cut-flower bed, with netting/support for long stems if needed. Avoid planting asters in the same bed year after year to reduce disease pressure. Mature stems may reach approximately 30–36 inches. Color mixtures vary, and not every individual pack will include every shade.
