Harden off before transplanting after frost danger has passed. Space approximately 12–24 inches apart for cut foliage and maintain steady moisture until established. Harvest when stems are sufficiently firm and leaves feel leathery. Eucalyptus is not reliably hardy outdoors in Massachusetts and is generally grown as an annual here. Actual foliage harvest and stem length depend on the growing season.

Image note: AI-generated illustration of mature Silver Dollar eucalyptus-style foliage with rounded silvery-blue leaves.
